Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or session state. Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by external services we use).
Here is a complete list of all cookies used on expand.gg:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* | Supabase | Authentication session — keeps you logged in to app.expand.gg | Session / 7 days | Necessary |
| OVH session | OVH (hosting) | Standard server-side session management by our hosting provider | Session | Necessary |
We do not use any of the following: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any other tracking technologies. Cloudflare Web Analytics, used for basic traffic measurement, is cookie-free.
The authentication cookie is strictly necessary to keep you logged in while using the app. Without it, you would be signed out on every page load. This use falls under the strictly necessary category as defined by CNIL guidelines and does not require explicit consent under French law.
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
Under CNIL guidelines (France's data protection authority), a cookie consent banner is only required when non-essential cookies are used — such as analytics or advertising cookies. Since expand.gg currently uses only strictly necessary cookies, we are not required to display a consent banner. If we introduce any analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and add an appropriate consent mechanism.
We will update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or third-party services. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
